Tekken [2010]

Tekken is the title of an upcoming film set to be released in 2010 [1]. Little has been revealed about the new Tekken movie. What is known, is that it is set later on than in the anime film (Tekken: The Motion Picture). Currently the movie is in post production. Tekken was written by Michael Werb, Michael Colleary, and Hans Rodinoff. The director of the film is Dwight H. Little. Screenplay will be written by Alan McElroy. Tekken the movie is to be released on Dvd and blu ray on september 1st 2010.

Notes:

   * As more information comes to light, the list of cast members and what character they will portray will be added.
   * The story's chronological placement with the games is not yet known, except that it is after Tekken 2. However it is highly likely that it is based on Tekken 4 due to the presence of Kazuya Mishima and absence of characters such as Asuka Kazama and Jinpachi Mishima.Furthermore, Jin Kazama has the intention of killing Heihachi Mishima which means that it is after his betrayal in Tekken 3.
   * People have discussed the fact that some characters like Lei, Paul, Xiaoyu, King, Kuma, Lili and Lee don't appear in the movie because they got a great role in some characters story.
